Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by 8:02 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the November 10,2021,Regular'Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Yates,
the Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of
November 10,2021,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Approve Minutes of the January 21,2022,Called Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member
McIvor the Board voted seven(7)for and none(0)opposed to approve the minutes of
January 21,2022, Called Meeting. The motion carried.
3. Update on Current Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.

Ms. Cromwell provided an update on market conditions stating Allen markets continue to trend
favorably.
4. Update on Marketing Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell stated the CVB will continue to focus on following trends in the current climate with a
mix of leisure and planner efforts.The Marketing Manager position is posted and moving forward with
the interview process.
5. Update on Sales Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on sales initiatives and stated lead volume is on an upward trend.
