Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the panel members present,the meeting of the Public Art Committee Selection Panel
was called to order at 5:30 p.m.on Wednesday,February 27, 2019,in the Parks and Recreation
Conference Room of the Municipal Courts,Parks and Recreation Building,301 Century Parkway,Allen,
Texas 75013.
Discussion Items
1. Candidate Artist interviews for the Allen Event Center Rotunda Project.
a. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 5:30 p.m.
b. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 6:00 p.m.
c. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 6:30 p.m.
d. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 7:00 p.m.
e. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 7:30 p.m.
f. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 8:00 p.m.
g. Candidate interview conducted by the Artist Selection Panel at 8:30 p.m.
Through discussion following the interviews,the Selection Panel narrowed to three fmalists that
will be invited to the Allen Event Center for a tour and community input meeting in late March or
early April. The three finalists will then design a Public Art concept for the Allen Event Center
Rotunda.

There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
