Members present as follows: Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen Phil
Pringle, Jack Hedgcoxe and C.E. Ottaway.
Members absent Carl Marion and J.C. Hefner.
Visitors; Attorney Paul Warden, Mr. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. L.V.
Reid, Mrs. U.T. Malone and Ernest Shelgreen. Mr. Clark of the
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company was discussing or explaining the
rate change which is Buisiness Phone $11.00 to $11.50
Residence One Party $5.25 to $5.50.
Mr. & Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Malone and Mr. Shelgreen were discussing the
possibility of getting Water to the Wetsel Community.
Mr. Ottaway moved that all bills be paid second by Mr. Pringle.
Motion passed, ayes (3) three.
Mayor Watson read the report for January by Mr. Haddix, city police.
Motion by Mr. Ottaway to paint the FRONT of the CITY HALL, second by
Phil Pringle. Motion passed. Ayes (3) Three / noes (0) none.
