Minutes of last meeting read and approved :
Present; ,Mayor Gentry T. Jones, Aldermen T.L. Oxford, Phil Pringle,
J.C. Hefner, C.E. Ottaway and F. Dean Sears .
Audit report for the fiscal year July 1st 1961- June 30th 1962 was
distributed. A copy of the report is available in the City Hall for
review by any Allen resident.
Phil Pringle moved that the amount of $ 1,355. 98 be submitted to the
Allen Independent School Board for payment. Second by J.C. Hefner
motion passed . Ayes (5) Five / noes (0) none.
Dean Sears moved , that the Mayor investigate the feasibility of
providing garbage pickup for Allen. Survey to include expected rev-
enue and disbursement, see by Mr. Ottoway, Motion carried, ayes (5)
Five. Noes / none.
C.E. Ottoway moved, that a letter covering the Zoning Board
prepared by Phil Pringle be tabled by the City Council until the
next regular meeting so that a more thorough study of the matter
can be made by Council members. Motion second by Mr. Hefner.
Motion passed, ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.
