Members Present as follows ; Mayor Gentry T. Jones , Aldermen C .E.
Ottoway, Phil Pringle, Talmadge Oxford and F. Dean Sears . Members
absent J.C. Hefner.
Mr. Sears moved that the bills be paid, second by Phil Pringle ,
Motion Passed - 4 ayes 0 noes .
Discussion by Mayor and Council concerning annexing more property
to the city.
Motion by Mr Ottoway to have an Ordinance drawn up annexing property
in all directions from present city limits. Mayor to make necessary
arrangements with City Attorney. Second by Mr Oxford - Motion
carried - 4-ayes .
Discussion on zoning Commission concerning length of appointments
etc.
Motion by Mr Oxford that the plan submitted by Mr Pringle be adopted
and sent to the Zoning Board. Second by Mr Sears - Motion carried
4-ayes.
Motion by Mr Pringle to have the Mayor check with City Attorney
in regard to Mr. Clay's utility building and fence. Second - Oxford
Motion passed - 4-ayes.
