Meeting called to order by Mayer Gentry T. Jones
Minutes read and approved :
Council members present as follows : J.C. Hefner, F. Dean
Sears, Phil Pringle and C.E. Ottoway. Absent Talmadge L. Oxford .
Discussion about Sewer for the north side of ELLIS Street where
there are 14 lots that does-not have Sewer available.
Motion: by Mr Pringle that we install the SEWER LINE on the north
side of Ellis Street at a standard tapping fee of $ 75.00 per lot.
Second by Mr. Ottoway, motion passed. Ayes 4, noes 0.
Motion: by J.C. Hefner that ANY FUTURE PERMITS THAT ARE ISSUED WILL
REQUIRE A FOUNDATION INSPECTION BEFORE POURING ANY CONCRETE
BEAMS OR FOOTING, TO DETERMINE THAT THE CONSTRUCTION COMPL-
IES WITH THE SET-BACK LINES DESCRIBED IN THE 1960 ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN. Second by MR. Ottaway,
motion carried Ayes 4, noes 0.
Motion: by C.E. Ottoway, Seconded by J.C. Hefner that third rending of Ordinance
No. 29 be approved, motion carried Ayes 4, noes 0.
Mr Pringle moved that we buy a Civil defense stamp, for
mailing cards . Second by Mr. Ottoway, motion passed ayes 4 noes 0.
