Minutes read of November 8th 1962.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T. Jones .
Council members present as follows : J.C. Hefner, F. Dean Sears,
Phil Pringle, Talmadge Oxford and C.E. Ottoway.
Mr Hoglin and W.E. Ford were present discussing Zoning on the S.E.
Brown property. With reference to a Trailor Court-Cafe and a Home.
The Council will wait until Mr. Hoglin brings in some plans for the
above project, before they make any decision.
Discussion on the rezoning of the W.A. Johnson property from zone
G to zone A.
Motion by Talmadge Oxford that the rezoning of the W.A. Johnson
property on Highway # 5 be dropped . Motion second by Mr. Ottoway
motion passed- Ayes (4) Four noes (1) One. (Phil Pringle) .
Mr. Ottoway moved that we pay the Tax Bond coupons due December 1st
to the Mercantile National Bank of Dallas. Second by J.C. Hefner
motion passed - ayes (4) Four-- Noes (1) one. ( P.P. ) .
Motion by C.E. Ottoway to clean out the culvert on West Ave. C North
second by J.C. Hefner, motion passed- ayes (5) Five / noes (0) none.
Motion by Mr Ottoway that we grant the City of Plano parking space
for a " Fire Truck" in return for the use of said Truck, sec . by
Talmadge Oxford, motion passed- ayes (5) five-- noes (0) none.
Motion by Talmadge Oxford that we fix the culvert on KEITH Dr. and
Cottonwood creek. Repair and correct the concrete embankment
Second by Mr. Ottoway- motion passed - Ayes (4) Four
(1) one abstention ( P.P. ) .
