The Called Meeting of the Allen Zoning Board of Adjustment
was called to order by Chairman Kirkindoll at 7:32 p.m. on Tuesday,
November 9, 1982, at Rountree Elementary School, 800 E. Main Street.
Approval of Minutes:
October 12, 1982
(Agenda Item II)
Chairman Kirkindoll read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Approve minutes of October 12, 1982, meeting."
Board Member Armand noted a that a correction needed to be
made on page 1, last paragraph. It should read as follows:
The meeting was turned over to Acting Chairman Armand
who asked Bill Petty, Building Official, to orient the
Board to the powers and duties of the two Boards.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Armand and second by Board
Member Karlsruher, the Board voted five (5) for and none
(0) opposed to approve the minutes of the October 12, 1982,
meeting with the above correction. The motion carried.

on Variance Request for Block
H, Lots 1 & 2, Timbercreek
Addition (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Kirkindoll read the request into the record as follows:

MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Armand and second by Board
Member Lewis, the Board voted five (5) for and none (0)
opposed to set the date for Public Hearing on this agenda
item for December 14, 1982. The motion carried.
Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, reviewed the
plat of the Timbercreek Addition with the Board and gave them some
background as to why the variance is being requested.
General Discussion:
Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, gave the Board
a copy of the oath to be administered, if necessary, to persons
the Board would be taking testimony from at a Public Hearing.
There was some discussion on the floodway areas in the City
of Allen.
Adjournment:
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Lewis and second by Board
Member Armand, the Board voted five (5) for and none (0)
opposed to adjourn the called meeting of the Allen Zoning
Board of Adjustment at 7:55 p.m. The motion carried.
