The Called Special Meeting of the Allen Zoning Board of Adjustment
was called to order by Chairman Kirkindoll at 8:26 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Allen Municipal Annex, #1 Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes of
May 10, 1983 (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Kirkindoll read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of May 10, 1983, Called Special Meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Alexander and second by Board
Member Karlsruher, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0)
opposed to approve the minutes of May 10, 1983. The motion
carried.
Appoint Officers (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Kirkindoll read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Appoint Officers."
Chairman Kirkindoll asked for nominations for Chairman of the Board
of Adjustment.

Chairman Kirkindoll asked for nominations for Chairman of the
Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Board Member Chrisman nominated Board Member Karlsruher for Chairman
of the Zoning Board of Adjustment. He stated that he should be nominated
by acclamation.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Alexander and second by Board
Member Chrisman, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0)
opposed to cease nominations and appoint Board Member Karlsruher
Chairman by acclamation. The motion carried.
Chairman Karlsruher proceeded with the meeting. He asked for nominations
for Vice Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Board Member Alexander nominated Board Member Chrisman for Vice
Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Alexander and second by Board
Member Kirkindoll, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0)
opposed to cease nominations. The motion carried.
Chairman Karlsruher polled the Board Members with Board Member
Chrisman receiving four (4) votes. George Chrisman to be the Vice
Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Adjournment:
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Chrisman and second by Board
Member Kirkindoll, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0)
opposed to adjourn the Called Special Meeting of the Zoning
Board of Adjustment at 8:35 p.m. The motion carried.
