The Called Special Meeting of the Allen Board of Adjustment was called
to order by Chairman Karlsruher at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the
Allen Municipal Annex, U1 Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes of
April 10, 1984 (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Karlsruher read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of April 10, 1984, Called Special Meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Chrisman and second by Board Member
Alexander, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to
approve the minutes. The motion carried.
Public Hearing -
Request by Kinder Care
Learning Centers (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Karlsruher read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Public Hearing -A request by Kinder Care Learning Centers for a waiver
of the requirement that all commercial buildings have total brick
exterior. A .539 acres out of the Peter Wetsel Survey, Abst. 990,
described as the northwest corner of Fountain Park Drive and F.M. 2170.
Zoning Variance Case No. ZV5-24-84-4.

Public Hearing -
Request by Kinder
Care Learning Centers (Agenda Item III)
Tom Kelley, a representative of Kinder Care Learning Centers, presented
the request to the Board for a waiver of the requirement that all commercial
buildings have total brick exterior.
Chairman Karlsruher opened the Public Hearing.
There was no one present to speak for or against the request.
Chairman Karlsruher closed the Public Hearing.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Chrisman and secgnd by Board Member
Cahill, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to
approve the request, and allow only 180 square feet of wood.
The motion carried.

MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Chrisman and second by Board Member
Alexander, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to
adjourn the Called Special Meeting of the Allen Board of Adjustment
at 7:55 p.m. The motion carried.
