Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present:
With a quorum of the Board Members present, Chairman McRoy called the meeting to order at
6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway
Agenda Item 1: Approve Minutes from Special Called Board of Adjustment meeting
December 5, 2005
Chavman McRoy advised staff of minor corrections that needed to be made in the following
paragraphs:
• Chairman McRoy advised the Board they ceuld should not take his valuation into
consideration since he was not an expert and tom- ^^-anie e it
was only a matter of opinion.
• Chairman McRoy stated that the Board would need exact details of the proposed
landscape upgrade.
• Boardmember Kirk asked how much has been done to the house from the date they had
originally been told [o cease construction until now.

Motion: Upon a motion by Boardmember Spivey and a second by
Boardmember Shaffer the Board voted 3 IN FAVOR, 0 OPPOSED,
and 1 ABSTAINED, with Boardmember Brown abstaining from the
vote because he had not attended the meeting in question, to approve
the minutes. The motion carried.
Adjournment
Motion: Upon a motion by Boardmember Shaffer, and a second by Boardmember
Spivey, the Board voted 4 IN FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the Board
of Adjustment meeting at 6:04 p.m.
