Leeper, Project Coordinator David A. Hoover, Assistant Director of Planning & Development CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM: With a quorum of the Board present, the Sign Control Board was called to order at 3:35 p.m. by Chairperson Jones at the City Council Chambers, One Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, Texas. CONSENT AGENDA: 1. Approve minutes of Jane 11, 2001 Regular Meeting 2. Consider renewal of Class 4 Temporary Sign for Centex Homes/Ryland Homes located at 1501 Edgewater Drive in the Lost Creek Ranch Addition. MOTION Upon a motion by Board Member Moore and a second by Board Member Brown, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the consent agenda m presented. The motion carried. Discussion Item — Reconsider permanent sign for Twin Creeks Golf Club as approved by the Sign Board on February 13, 2001, and confined by the City Council on March 1, 2001. The Board discussed a request to reconsider requirements for the directional sign for the Golf Club on Twin Creeks Drive. After discussion that allowing the existing sign to remain would relieve liability and traffic visibility problems, and that the sign is established in the neighborhood at this time, the Board agreed that the sign should be allowed to =am as is, as long as it is maintained in its current condition. OTHER BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Moore and a second by Board Member Brown, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the July 9, 2001, meeting of the Sign Control Board at 3:50 p.m. The motion carried.
