CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
With a quomm of the Board present, the Sign Control Board was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by
Chairperson Jones at the City Council Chambers, One Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, Texas.
CONSENT AGENDA:
1. Approve minutes of August 13, 2001 Regular Meeting.
2. Consider renewal of Class 4 Temporary Sign for Letu ar Homes located at 100 N Alder
Drive in the Momingside Addition.
3. Consider renewal of Class 4 Temporary Sign for Paul Taylor Homes located at 1919 St.
Johns Avenue in Stacy Ridge Estates Phase 1 Addition.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Spivey and a second by Board Member Moore,
the Board voted 5 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the consent agenda as
presented. The motion carried.

4. Board Members requested staff to continue with the project of updating the public on garage
sale sign regulations.
Ms. Leeper provided a report to the Board on the Comprehensive Plan Forecast that indicates
that build -out population will be just under 100,000.
Appreciation was expressed to Ray Lewis for his years of service on the Board.
ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Moore and a second by Board Member Brown,
the Board voted 5 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the September 10, 2001,
meeting of the Sign Control Board at 3:40 p.m. The motion Gamed.
