Director of Planning & Development Aaron Smith, huern ECALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM: With a quorum of the Board present, the Sign Control Board was called to order at 3:50 p.m. by Chairperson Jones at the City Council Chambers, One Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, Texas. :�II]i`.I.Y�I�fI I7eCe1 SIU t7:F 1. Approve minutes of May 13, 2002 Regular Meeting. 2. Approve minutes of May 29, 2002 Workshop Meeting. MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Brown and a second by Board Member Halpin, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the consent agenda as presented. The motion tamed REGULAR AGENDA: 3. Consideration of and possible action on amendment to Sign Regulations of Allen Land Development Code regarding Realtor Open House Signs. �+ Ms. Sally Leeper, Planner, reviewed the request to consider off-site Open House signs for ■ , realtors. She noted that the City Attorney David Dodd indicated at their May 29, 2002, ■fl workshop that you could not differentiate between realtors and homebuilders in allowing off-site signs for open house events. The Board discussed the issue. Other Business: None ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Halpin and a second by Board MemberBrown, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the June 10, 2002, meeting of the Sign Control Board at 3:55 p.m. The motion carried.
