Workshop Meeting
Staff held a workshop meeting about platting, easements, setbacks, and rights of way (ROW) starting at
6:30 p.m. in the Council Conference Room.
Regular Meeting
With a quorum present, Chairman Autrey called the meeting to order at 7,00 p.m in the City Hall Council
Chambers at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway.
Election of Officers
I Elect a Chairman and Vice Chair for the Board of Adjustment, Sign Control Board, and Building
and Standards Commission.
Chairman Autrey opened the Boor for nominations for Chairman.
Motion: Upon a Motion by 1" Vice Chair Smith and a Second by Board Member Barry,
the Board voted 5 IN FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED to appoint Mr. Gene Autrey to
the Board of Adjustment, Sign Control Board, and Building and Standards
Commission Chairman position.
The Motion Carried.
Chairman Autrey opened the Boor for nominations for Vice Chair.
Motion: Upon a Motion Chairman Autrey and a Second by Board Member Barry, the
Board voted 5 I FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED to appoint Ms. Deborah Angel Smith

from the September 10, 2012 Board of Adjustment Workshop Meeting:
The Motion Carried.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Smith and a second by Board Member
Freiberger the Board voted 5 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the meeting
at 7:05 p.m.
