CALL TO ORDER:
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by
Vice -Chairman Biggs at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council
Chambers, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes
December 8, 1987 (Agenda Item II)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Approve minutes of December 8, 1987, regular meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a second
by Board Member Leverett, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve the minutes of December 8, 1987, as
presented. The motion carried.
Renewal - Class 4 Sign
Intermandeco, Inc. (Agenda Item III)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider first renewal for Class 4 Temporary sign for
Intermandeco, Inc., located at the southeast corner of
�,; Cottonwood Drive and Ridgemont Drive."

Renewal - Class 4 Sign
Intermandeco, Inc. (Cont.) (Agenda Item III)
Mr. Del Ferro stated that the sign is in good condition.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by
Board Member Kleinschmidt, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to grant renewal for the sign located at the
southeast corner of Cottonwood Drive and Ridgemont
Drive for Intermandeco, Inc. The motion carried.
Renewal - Class 4 Sign
Richmond American (Agenda Item IV)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider first renewal for Class 4 Temporary sign for
Richmond American, located at the northeast corner of
Ridgemont Drive and Jupiter Road."
Board Member Leverett stated that the sign is in good repair at
this time.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by
Board Member Kleinschmidt, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve the renewal for the sign located at
the northeast corner of Ridgemont Drive and Jupiter
Road for Richmond American. The motion carried.
Renewal - Class 4 Sign Off -Site
Richmond American (Agenda Item V)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider first renewal for Class 4 Temporary off-site
sign for Richmond American, located at the northeast
corner of Bethany Drive and Jupiter Road."
Board Member Leverett stated that the sign is in good repair at
this time.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by
Board Member Kleinschmidt, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve the renewal for the sign located at
the northeast corner of Bethany Drive and Jupiter Road
for Richmond American. The motion carried.

Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider first renewal for Class 4 Temporary sign for
Whitlow Sign Company, located at the intersection of
Exchange and Malone."
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that this sign is down at this
time, but that Whitlow Sign Company has advised they will have it
replaced within the next few days, and that they have requested
renewal of the permit.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by
Board Member Kleinschmidt, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve renewal for the sign located at the
intersection of Exchange and Malone for Whitlow Sign
Company. The motion carried.
Yearly Review of Sign Ordinance
(Agenda Item VII)
Vice -Chairman Biggs read the agenda item into the record as
follows:
"Consider yearly review of Sign Regulations Ordinance."
It was the consensus of the Board that this item be continued to
the next agenda because the chairman and one other member of the
Board were not here at this time.
Adjourn
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a second
by Board Member Leverett, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to adjourn the January 12, 1988, meeting of the
Allen Sign Control Board at 7:55 p.m. The motion
carried.
