CALL TO ORDER:
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
by Chairman Chrisman at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council
Chambers, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes
June 9, 1987

Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of June 9, 1987, Regular Meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a
second by Board Member Biggs, the Board votes 4 FOR
and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes of June 9, 1987
as presented. The motion carried.
Renewal, Class 4 Sign
Landmark Enterprises

Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider first renewal of Class 4 Sign for Landmark
Enterprises located at 742 Fairlawn."

MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Biggs and a second by
Board Member Curtis, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve first renewal of the Class 4 sign
for Landmark Enterprises. The motion carried.
Approval, Class 4 Off -Site Sign
Richmond -American Homes
(Agenda Item IV)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider approval of Class 4 off-site sign for Richmond -
American Homes located at the northeast corner of Bethany
Drive and Jupiter Road."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Biggs and a second by
Board Member Kleinschmidt, the Board voted 4 FOR and
0 OPPOSED to approve the Class 4 sign for Richmond -
American Homes. The motion carried.
Approval, Class 4 Off -Site Sign
Richmond -American Homes
(Agenda Item V)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the reocrd as follows:
"Consider approval of Class 4 off-site sign for Richmond -
American Homes located at the northeast corner of Ridgemont
and Jupiter."
Mr. Del Ferro stated that this sign is an on-site sign and doesn't
fall in off-site category; therefore, does not require any Board
action. Chairman Chrisman struck this agenda item off the agenda.
General Discussion:
Chairman Chrisman question which is right: S. H. 75 or Highway 75?
Mr. Del Ferro discussed this matter with Mr. Petty and found that
U. S. Highway 75 is correct and should be used in the future.
Mr. Del Ferro presented the number and locations of approved
Class 4 signs in this period.
