CALL TO ORDER:
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman
Chrisman, at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council Chambers, One Butler
Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes
June 14, 1988 (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of June 14, 1988, Regular meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a second by Board
Member Curtis, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve
the minutes of June 14, 1988, as presented.
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the three signs on the agenda for renewal
consideration are in good repair at this time.
Consider Renewal
Bass Development Company (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider
first
renewal of Class
4 sign for Bass Development
Company
located at
the
southwest corner
of Sycamore Creek Road and
Roaring
Springs Drive."

MOTION: Upon a

Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0
OPPOSED to approve
the first
renewal for Bass
Development Company
for a Class 4 sign

Creek and Roaring
Springs.
Consider Renewal
Intermandeco, Inc.
(Agenda Item IV)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider second renewal for Class 4 sign for Intermandeco, Inc. located at
the southeast corner of Cottonwood Drive and Ridgemont Drive."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a second by Board
Member Curtis, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve
the second renewal for Intermandeco, Inc. for a Class 4 sign located
at the southeast corner of Cottonwood Drive and Ridgemont Drive.
Consider Renewal
Birkdale Homes (Agenda Item V)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider first renewal for Class 4 sign for Birkdale Homes located at 31
Buchanan Place."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Kleinschmidt and a second by Board
Member Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve
the first renewal for Birkdale Homes for a Class 4 sign located at 31
Buchanan Place.
Chairman Chrisman discussed the comments of the City Council regarding the
Sign Ordinance amendments that were sent to them at their July 7, 1988, meet-
ing.

MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by Board
Member Curtis, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the
July 12, 1988, meeting of the Sign Control Board at 7:50 p.m.
