REGULAR MEETING

CALL TO ORDER:
In the absence of Chairman Chrisman and Vice -Chairman Leverett, it was
necessary to elect an acting chairman for the meeting.
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Acting Chairman
Crowe at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council Chambers, One Butler Circle,
Allen, Texas.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Cox and a second by Board Member
Curtis, Board Member Crowe was elected Acting Chairman for this
meeting.
Approve Minutes
June 13, 1989 (Agenda Item II)
Acting Chairman Crowe read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of May 9, 1989, Regular Meeting."
Acting Chairman Crowe stated that the word "sign" was left out of agenda item VI,
on page 3.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Cox and a second by Board Member
Curtis, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes
of June 13, 1989, as corrected.

Consider 1st Renewal
Black, Gillock & Langberg Agenda Item III)
Acting Chairman Crowe read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider approval of Class 4 sign for General Homes located south of F.M.
2170 and west of Dogwood Drive."
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the sign is in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Curtis and a second by Board Member
Cox, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the 1st
renewal for Class 4 sign located south of F.M. 2170 and west of
Dogwood Drive.
Consider 3rd Renewal
Bass Development (Agenda Item IV)
Acting Chairman Crowe read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 3rd renewal for Class 4 sign for Bass Development located at
Sycamore Creek and Roaring Springs."
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the sign is in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Cox and a second by Board Member
Curtis, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the 3rd
renewal for Class 4 sign located at Sycamore Creek and Roaring
Springs.
Consider tat Renewal
Goodman Homes (Agenda Item V)
Acting Chairman Crowe read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 1st renewal for Class 4 sign for Goodman Homes located at the
northwest corner of Fountain Gate Drive and Main Street."
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the sign is in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Cox and a second by Board Member
Curtis, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the 1st
renewal for Class 4 sign located at the northwest corner of
Fountain Gate Drive and Main Street.

Annual Review
Sign Control Ordinance (Agenda VI)
In view of the absence of two members, the consensus of the Board was to
postpone action on this item until the regular August Meeting.
Adjourn
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Curtis and a second by Board Member
Cox, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the July 11,
1989, meeting of the Allen Sign Control Board at 7:50 p.m.
