CALL TO ORDER:
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Vice -Chairman
Leverett at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council Chambers, One Butler Circle,
Allen, Texas.
Election of Officers (Agenda Item II)
Vice -Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Election of Officers: Chairman, Vice -Chairman, Secretary"
Board Member Crowe placed the name of George Chrisman in nomination for
Chairman and he was elected by acclamation.
Board Member Crowe placed the name of Randall Leverett in nomination for Vice -
Chairman and he was elected by acclamation.
Board Member Crowe placed the name of Terri Hall in nomination for Secretary and
she was elected by acclamation.

Approve Minutes
October 10, 1989 (Agenda Item III)
Vice -Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of October 10, 1989, Regular meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Hall and a second by Board Member
Crowe, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes
of October 10, 1989, as presented.
5th Renewal
Marymark Homes
(Agenda Item IV)
Vice -Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 5th renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional Sign located at 800
Fall Drive for Marymark Homes."
Staff advised that the sign is in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Hall and a second by Board Member
Crowe, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the 5th
renewal for Marymark Homes.
Annual Renewal
Legacy Homes
(Agenda Item V)
Vice -Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider annual renewal of Class 4 Homebuilder Directional Signs for
Legacy Homes."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Crowe and a second by Board Member
Hall, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the annual
renewal for weekend directional signs for Legacy Homes.

6th Renewal
400 W. Bethany Drive (Agenda Item VI)
Vice -Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 6th renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional Sign located at 400
W. Bethany Drive."
Staff advised that the sign is in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Crowe and a second by Board Member
Hall, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the 6th
renewal at 400 W. Bethany Drive.
Other Business:
Staff advised the Board of the Class 4 signs that had been permitted since the last
meeting. These included 2 signs located at the northeast corner of Bethany and
U.S. 75 and 1 sign located at the southwest corner of Allentown Parkway and
S. H. 5.
Adjourn:
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Hall and a second by Board Member
Crowe, the Board voted 3 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the
November 14, 1989, meeting of the Allen Sign Control Board.
