Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Board Members present, Chairman Autrey called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Council Chambers Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway
Consent Agenda
I Approve minutes from the August 3, 2015, Board of Adjustment, Sign Control Board, Building
and Standards Commission Meeting
Motion: Upon a Motion by 2"d Vice -Chair Barry and a second by Board Member
Howard, the Board voted 71N FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED, to approve the Consent
Agenda.
The Motion Carried.
Election of Officers
2. Elect a Chair, Vice -Chair and Second Vice -Chair.
Chairman Autrey opened the floor for nominations for Chairman
Motion: Upon a motion by Ist Vice -Chair Angell Smith, and a second by
Board Member Clarkson, the Board voted 7 I FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED to
appoint Mr. Gene Autrey to the Board of Adjustment, Sign Control Board,
Building and Standards Commission Chair position.

Chairman Autrey opened the floor for nominations for the 1" Vice -Chair Position.
Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Clarkson, and a second by
Board Member Gillis, the Board voted 7 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED to
appoint Ms. Deborah Angell Smith to the Board of Adjustment, Sign
Control Board, Building and Standards Commission 1" Vice -Chair position.
The motion carried
Chairman Autrey opened the floor for nominations for the 2"d Vice -Chair Position.
Motion: Upon a motion by 1" Vice -Chair Angell Smith, and a second by
Board Member Metevier, the Board voted 7 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED
to appoint Mr. Ken Barry to the Board of Adjustment, Sign Control Board,
Building and Standards Commission 2"d Vice -Chair position.
The motion carried
Workshop
3. Board Training Case scenarios workshop.
Staff conducted a case scenarios workshop.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Howard and a second by 2°d Vice -Chair Barry,
the Board voted 7 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the meeting at 7:10
