With a quorum of the Board present, the Keep Allen Beautiful Regular meeting was called to order
at 7 10 p.m on Tuesdav, October 19, 1999, at the Citv Hall Conference Room, One Butler Circle
Approve the Minutes of the September 21, 1999, Reedar Meetine (Agenda Item II)
A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the September 21, 1999, meeting. The
Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, the minutes were approved.
Texas Recycles Day November 13.1999, Event Planning (Agenda Item III)
Pat reported on the Arts project flyer, flyers have been distributed Tues , Oct. 26' Pat and Amy will
checkout schools to see if flyers were posted. General form letter to he drafted and asked if they would
display some of the art projects Judging will be on Saturday, November 6,1999 Lonnie will be following
upon contributions for Savings Bonds on Art Prizes Covered assignment list for November Trash Off
Items of Interest (Agenda Item IV)
Discussion about Christmas parade. Will wear sweatshirts and handout candy canes Can we get Art
project winners to carry banner in front of recycling truck on parade route?
