Call to Order
(Agenda Item 1)
With a quorum of the Board present, the Keep Allen Beautiful Special Called Workshop
meeting was called to order at 7:21 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 1998, at the City of Allen Compost
Facility 510 S Jupiter Road.
Approve the Minutes of the April 21, 1998 Meetings
(Agenda Item 11)
Change Item IV to read Spring Fest A motion was made and second to approve the minutes of
April 21, 1998 meeting. The Board votes seven (7) for and none (0) opposed all minutes were
approved.
Review and Reading of Mission Statement
(Agenda Item III)
Phil Lakin read the Mission Statement to the Board The Board voted seven (7) for and none
(0) opposed to approve the Mission Statement.
Articles of Incorooration Update
(Agenda Item IV)
The Articles of Incorporation will be put on hold until Edie is back to get packet ready to go to
the City Council for approval.
Miscellaneous
(Agenda Item V)
The Board and Mayor Terrell said good-bye to Beverly Wonham we will miss her. Then the
Board worked at cleaning and planting the compost facility garden and it looks great.

The meeting was adjourned at 9 19 p.m.
