Call to Order (Agenda Item I)
With a quorum of the Board present, the Keep Allen Beautiful Regular meeting was called to order at
7 15 p an. on Tuesday, November 17, 1998, at the Allen City Hall Conference Room, One Butler Circle
Approve Minutes of October 20.1998. Regular Meeting (Agenda Item II)
A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the October 20. 1998, meeting. The Board
voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed; the minutes were approved
Election of New Officers (Agenda Item III)

Texas Recycles Day Event Overview (Agenda Item IV)
The event was a success The weather cooperated and we estimate that we had approximately 200
volunteers collecting trash The tonnage is high even though we had fewer volunteers then we normally have I
call have tonnage totals for you at your next meeting.
Miscellaneous (Agenda Item V)
• 501c.3 — Progress proceeding
• Joint Meeting Parks and Recreation Board — We will try to get a meeting scheduled
• McDermott Median — Will try to do early spring
• Compost Facility — Will get on schedule for fust of year
• Items of Interest to Board — April 17" date for next clean up, will try to get businesses in town to
help with this event Board would like to have a luncheon meeting with the businesses. May
consider holding next event in an area more centrally located, like Albertson's or Home Depot
