1. Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Keep Allen Beautiful Budget Workshop Meeting
was called to order by Chair Simmons at 2'00 p in. on Monday, April 23, 2001, in the First Floor
Conference Room at City Hall, One Allen Civic Plaza, Allen, Texas.
2. Workshop
Discussion of the 2001-2002 budget. The decision was to focus on six (6) components consisting of
an educational component, the Spring Spruce Up event, Texas Trash Off, community projects,
conferences/dues, and general operating expenses The costs for these components will be presented
i to the City Manager for approval
3. Other Business
Discussion of the KAB newsletter, discount cards, HHW clean-up, and NTMWD
4. Adjourn
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board member Audrey Smyth and a second by Board member Shelia
Curtis, the Board voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the budget workshop of
the Keep Allen Beautiful Board at 335 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2001. The motion carred.
