CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS
January 20, 1966
Present: Mayor Gentry Jones
Aldermen: Dan Strong, Ken Posey, R.B. Whisenant
Absent: Jimmy Gantt & Billy J. Enloe.
Betts & Smith, Engineers, were present and reported
that Mr. Perry is no longer with the firm, and that
they, Betts & Smith have moved to new location,
Greenville Ave. across from Meadows Bldg.
Betts reported we should hear from the Federal Government
within 30 days .
Mayor Jones is to write a letter to the Planning Commission
asking them to hold a regular monthly meeting each month, dis-
cussing future planning for the City of Allen. Mr. Betts stated
that records should be kept of each meeting, as these will be
of much importance in securing future grants.
Motion by Dan Strong to Adjorn meeting.
