CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS

Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen: Jimmy Gantt, Ken Posey, Bill Enloe,
Dan Strong
Absent: B.J. Whisenant
Mayor Jones made a report on the value of the Mayors Assoc-
iation. He felt that some good regarding the sewer plant
had come about after having a better relationship with the
Plano Mayor. He had a conflab with the Mayor and City Manager.
The City Council is to look into the possibility of tieing
onto the Plano Sewer System.
Discussion, was, concerning Mayor Jones to check out the cost
of sewer operations with Walter F. Hicks, Jr., Wisenbaker, Fix,
and Associates and also to discuss this issue with the City
Council, and then for Mayor Johns to discuss his findings with
Plano City Council.
Motion: By Bill Enloe that the Mayor of Allen be given the
authority to negogate with the City of Plano based upon the
economic fesibility and the advice of our City Engineers,
Herod and Skiles .
Second: By Jimmy Gantt, motion passed, 4 ayes no opposes.
The City Council of Allen regreat the future moving of Jimmy
Gantt from Allen as there will have to be a replacement on
the city council.
Motion: By Bill Enloe to pay bills presented by City Secretary
Second: By Ken Posey, passed, 4 ayes, no opposes.
Meeting adjorned by Bill Enloe and second by Dan Strong.
