February 17, 1966
Present: Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen: Dan Strong, Ken Posey, Bill Enloe
Abesent: R.B. Whisenant, Jimmy Gantt
Mr. Herod, our city engineer, was also present.
Mayor Jones explained to the council that the engineers for
the City of Plano, will contact our city engineers in regards
to a contract of sewer disposal for the city of Allen.
Bids were opened for 6" water line one Hwy. #5.
Bids were subimtted by Eugene Holmes & John L. Enloe
Robert L. Sutton
After contracts were read, motion by Dan Strong to award the
contract for water line along Hwy. #5 south of Keith Street,
to Holmes & Enloe. Motion was second by Ken Posey, motion
passed, Ayes 3 Opposed none.
Motion by Bill Enloe to pay bills presented by City Secretary.
Second by Ken Posey, motion passed, Ayes 3, Opposed none.
Motion by Mayor Jones to adjourne, second by Ken Posey.
