CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS
March 3, 1966
Present: Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen: Dan Strong, Ken Posey, R.B. Whisenant
Abesent: Jimmy Gantt & Bill Enloe
Mr. J.A. Gooch from McKinney was present to discuss with the
Council, a building in the rear of his building, Conoco Station,
for the use of recreation for the young people.
Mayor Jones read correspondence to the council.
Mr. Betts request a master street plan and the expense of
street repairs in the last two years, so he may present it
to the Government.
The planning commission to meet with the City Council at the
next council meeting.
Motion: By Dan Strong to continue six inch water line along
Hwy. #5 to the South side of Lowman property.
Second: By Ken Posey. Motion passed. Ayes 3 Noes none.
Meeting adjourned by Dan Strong.
