June 25, 1966
PRESENT: Mayor Gentry T. Jones
ALDERMEN: Zack Robinson, Dan Strong, and Ken Posey
ABSENT R. B. Whisenant add Bill Enloe
A special meeting of the City Council of the Town of Allen was
called by Gentry T. Jones, Mayor, for the purpose of passing an
ordinance providing for the sale of 128.262 acres of land des-
cribed in Deed of Trust drawn by Alex Orr, Attorney, to Harold
L. Kallenberg, Milton Bubin, and Herman M. Woldman for a cash
consideration of $110,000.00.
Motion by : Dan Strong, be it ordained by the Town of Allen,
Texas, where as such land is no longer needed for municipal uses
it would be in the best interest of the Town of Allen and its
inhabitants that such land be sold. That the property described by
the Deed of Trust drawn by Alex Orr, Attorney for the Town of
Allen to be sold to Harold L. Kallenberg, Milton Bubin, and Herman
M. Woldman for a consideration of $110,000.00 cash out of which
will be paid commission for the sale and other closing cost and
that Gentry T. Jones, Mayor of the Town of Allen, be
hereby authorized to execute and deliver a General Warranty Deed
conveying such real estate as aforesaid. Which said deed shall be
attested to by A. C. Story, City Secretary, and the seal of the
Town of Allen affixed thereto.
This ordinance to take effect immediately (ordinance # 61) .

Motion by: Dan Strong to have Mr. Alex Orr place easement for
sewerage line in deed of trust. Herod & Skiles under supervision
of Wisenbaker, Fix, & Associates.
