Present: Mrs. Thelma Summers, Mr. & Mrs. Will Clegg
David Worden, Mr. E.B. Young, Watler Curtis,
Mr. & Mrs. Joe Cassady
Meeting was opened with discussion of North Avenue AA condition,
with Mrs. Thelma Summers and Mr. & Mrs. Will Clegg
Discussion with Mr. E.B. Young, Walter Curtis, and Mr. & Mrs. Joe
Cassady concerning the curb and guttering on South Third Street, east
of East Aveune C. South. This project could be paid out on monthly
basis if the property owners so desire. The part that is paid before
completion of project would be interest free, after project
is completed an interest charge would be made on the balance.
Letter received from the Texas State Department of Health dated
September 8, 1966 was read by Mayor Jones, the letter contained
information concerning our grant for sewage.
Meeting with Plano about sewage was discussed and contract is
being drawn in a rough manner for the City Attorneys approval,
and will be brought before the council at a later date.
Discussion with David Worden about fixing the street in front of
the Christian Church. The Council is to get this checked by the
Engineers.
City Secretary, Mr. Story was to get water connections and deduct
ones that do not have sewer for our engineer Mr. Hicks report.
