Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Simpson at 8:02 a.m. on Wednesday,August 14,2019, in
the City Council Conference Room located in City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the May 8,2019,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice-Chair Arnold and a second by Board Member Clemencich, the
Board voted four(4)for and none(0)opposed to approve the minutes of May 8,2019,Regular
Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Update on Current Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on the current market conditions of the Allen hotel industry.
3. Update on Marketing Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on the CVB's marketing initiatives.
4. Discussion on Partner Engagement.
Ms. Cromwell led discussion on partner engagement with the CVB.
5. Discussion on Fall FAM(Client Familiarization Tour).
Ms. Cromwell discussed the plans for the upcoming Fall FAM.
6. Present Highlights of the FY 2019-2020 Proposed Budget as Transmitted to the Allen City
Council.
Ms. Cromwell presented the highlights of the CVB's FY 2019-2020 proposed budget.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice-Chair Arnold and a second by Board Member Clemencich, the
Board voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen
