Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present:
With a quorum of the Committee members present, Chairman Kurbansade called the meeting to order at
2:32 p.m. in the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway.
ACTION ITEMS:
Agenda Item#1: Approve Minutes from Called Meeting held on May 14,2019.
Motion: Upon a motion by Dwight Burns and a second by Chris Flanigan, the
Committee voted 7 IN FAVOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes from
the May 14,2019 meeting. The motion carried.
Action Item#2: Consider a Design Plan for McDermott Business Park,Lot 5,Block A for an Office
Use.
Ms. Angel, Planner II,presented the item to the Committee.
She noted that staff is in support of the item.
The Committee discussed storage and architectural features of surrounding buildings.The Committee
noted that the building was within five feet of the property line and that this may impact the openings in
the facades.
Motion: Upon a motion by Dwight Burns and a second by Beverly Pruitt,the Committee voted
7 IN FAVOR,0 OPPOSED to approve the Design Plan for McDermott Business Park,
Lot 5,Block A,with the condition that the elevations are to be revisited according to
building code. The motion carried.
