AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY
TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY LIMITS AND
GRANTING TO ALL THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TERRITORY ALL
THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING
SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS, ORDINANCES,
RESOLUTIONS AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION HEREOF.
WHEREAS, application having been duly made for annexing
said territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which application is
in the form of a petition duly and legally executed and filed
with the Mayor of the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor,
having certified the same to the Council of the City of Allen,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated
into and determined that all of the facts contained in said
petition are true; and
WHEREAS, all legal notices required for annexation have
been given in the manner and form set forth by law and a public
hearing has been held on the proposed annexation and all other
requirements of notice and completion of such annexation
procedures being fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen has investigated
and determined that it will be advantageous and beneficial to the
City of Allen and its inhabitants as well as the hereinafter
described territory to annex such territory to the City of Allen,
Texas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the territory described as follows and all
Public street, roads and alleyways located within or contiguous
to same, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen,
Texas, to -wit:
jurisdiction, it is expressly provided that any and all remaining
portions and those provided for within this Ordinance shall remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: The caption of this Ordinance shall be published
one time in a weekly newspaper published in the City of Allen
and shall be effective immediately upon its passage an -d such
publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
