CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, ORDINANCE NO. 248
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AN ALLEY IN THE OLD DONATION TO
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.
THAT WHEREAS, the owners of the property abutting the
alley hereinafter described have petitioned the City Council
of the City of Allen, Texas, to abandon such alley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has
determined that such alley is not now needed by the citizens
of the City of Allen, Texas, and that the same should be
abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL-6F.THE�
CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS: 1 ''
SECTION ONE: That the alley hereinafter describedsbe and .,
the same
is hereby closed and abandoned for public use forever:
SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, and being the West one-half
(1/2) of Lot 3, Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, and the West one-half (1/2) of
Lot 8 in Block 18, Old Donation to the City of Allen, Texas, as
shown on the plat of said town recorded in Volume 1, Page 130 of
the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption and it is so ordered.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
