Workshop Session
With a quorum of the Councilmembers present,the Workshop Session of the Allen City Council was called to
order by Mayor Pro Tern Caplinger at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in the Council Conference
Room of the Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas.
1. Update on the Public Safety Computer Aided Dispatch/ Records Management System Software
Implementation.
2. Committee Updates from City Council Liaisons.
3. Questions on Current Agenda.
With no further discussion, the Workshop Session of the Allen City Council was adjourned at 6:59 p.m. on
Tuesday,February 25,2020.

With a quorum of the Councilmembers present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen City Council was called to
order by Mayor Pro Tern Caplinger at 7:03 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in the Council Chambers of
the Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas.

Mayor Pro Tern Caplinger moved to Agenda Item 3.
3. Presentation of Proclamations by the Office of the Mayor.
• Presentation of a Proclamation to Cornerstone Ranch Proclaiming March 2020 as,"Developmental
Disabilities Awareness Month."
4. Recognition of the Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners.

Consent Agenda
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Clemencich and a second by Councilmember Brooks,
the Council voted six (6) for and none(0) opposed to adopt all items on the Consent Agenda
as follows:
5. Approve Minutes of the February 11,2020,Regular City Council Meeting.
6. Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Apply For, Accept, Reject, Alter, or
Terminate a Grant from the State of Texas, Office of the Governor,Criminal Justice Division to
Purchase a Three-Dimensional Scanner System.
RESOLUTION 3733-2-20(R): A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, TO APPLY FOR, ACCEPT, REJECT, ALTER, OR
TERMINATE GRANT#40479-01 FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS,OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR,
CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION PROVIDING FUNDING TO PURCHASE A THREE
DIMENSIONAL SCANNING SYSTEM, IF AWARDED.

• Council recognized a Boy Scout from Troop 131 in attendance as a requirement for his citizenship
in the community merit badge.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Doherty and a second by Councilmember
Clemencich,the Council voted six(6)for and none(0)opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting
of the Allen City Council at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday,February 25,2020. The motion carried.
