AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS
AMENDING ARTICLE V. SECTION 5.05 "PENALTY" OF COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 366-10-81 BY PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT
TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $1,000.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE; PROVIDING FOR
READOPTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS.
SECTION 1. That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance,
Article V, Section 5.05 "Penalty", of Ordinance No. 366-10-81 is hereby amended in the
following manner and shall read as follows, to -wit:
5.05 PENALTY. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate
any of the provisions of this Ordinance or who shall fail to comply with
the provisions hereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars
($1,000.00), and each day that such violation continues shall constitute a
separate of fense and shall be punishable accordingly.
SECTION 2. That Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 366-10-81, as so
amended, is hereby readopted by the City Council of the City of Allen.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and
after its passage and publication in accordance with the provisions of the charter of the
City of Allen, and it is accordingly so ordained.
