AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS SUBDIVISION
REGULATIONS ORDINANCE NO. 273 AS HERETO FORE AMENDED BY
AMENDING SECTION 5.04 (1) (2) (3); FURTHER AMENDING THE CITY
OF ALLEN SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS ORDINANCE NO. 273, SECTION
5.05 PROVIDING FOR READOPTION; PROVIDING FOR THE
PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION HEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the Section 5.04 filing fees and charges
in relation to costs of engineering reviews and street and storm sewer inspection
services provided by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff has further reviewed the Subdivision filing fees
required by other cities; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff is of the opinion that the existing requirements for
filing fees and charges on Subdivision Plats is insufficient to cover the cost of
engineerig review and onsite inspection of street and storm drainage services provided
by the City of Allen; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the City Staff
and concurs with the proposed changes:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION I: That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance, Section
5.04 (1) (2) (3) is hereby amended in the following manner and shall read as follows, to
wit:
(1) Residential: For single family uses.
A. Preliminary Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $5.00 per lot.
B. Final Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $15.00 per lot.
Residential for Multi -Family Uses
A. Preliminary Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $3.00 per unit.
B. Final Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $5.00 per unit.

C. Combination Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $8.00 per unit.
(2) Mobile Homes For Developments for Locating Mobile Homes:
A. Preliminary Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $4.00 per space.
B. Final Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $6.00 per space.
(3) Other Uses: For Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and
Other Uses not Normally platted in Lots.
A. Preliminary Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $15.00 per acre.
B. Final Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $20.00 per acre.
C. Combination Plat - $100.00 per plat plus $35.00 per acre.
SECTION IL• That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance, Section
5.05 relating to penalties for violation of Ordinance No. 273 of the City of Allen, Texas,
is hereby amended in the following manner and shall read as follows, to wit:
5.05 Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate
any of the provisions hereof, shall be subject to prosecution upon
conviction and subject to a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00), and each day that such violation continues shall constitute a
separate offense and shall be punishable accordingly.
SECTION DI: Ordinance No. 273 entitled City of Allen Subdivision Regulations
as so amended is hereby readopted by the City Council of the City of Allen.
SECTION IV: The caption of this Ordinance shall be published one time in a
weekly newspaper published in the City of Allen and shall be effective immediately
upon its passage and publication.
