AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 "ESTABLISHMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD" OF ORDINANCE NO. 306 OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS: AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, Section 3
of Ordinance No. 306, "Establishment of Parks and Recreation Board", the number of
five (5) board members is hereby amended in the following manner and shall read as
follows, to -wit:
"Establishment of Parks and Recreation Board: A Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board consisting of seven (7) active members is
hereby established as follows:..."
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effective immediately from
and after its adoption.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Allen,
Texas, on the 6th day of September , A.D., 1984.
