AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN, COUNTY,
TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2 "ESTABLISHMENT OF LIBRARY
BOARD" OF ORDINANCE NO. 418-11-82 OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
Section I. That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 418-11-82, "Establishment
of Library Board, " the number of five (5) board members is
hereby amended in the following manner and shall read as follows,
to -wit:
"Establishment of Library Board: There is
hereby created an advisory board known as
the Allen Public Library Board which shall
be composed of seven (7) members ."
Section II. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and publication as required by
law.
