AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 310 AND THE CITY OF ALLEN
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 2, "ADMINISTRATION", ARTICLE
III, "TEXAS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM", SECTION 2-51, "CITY
CONTRIBUTIONS AT RETIREMENT", BY PROVIDING FOR INCREASED
MUNICIPAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CURRENT SERVICE ANNUITY
RESERVE AT RETIREMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
That Ordinance No. 310 and Chapter 2, "Administration", Article III, "Texas
Municipal Retirement System", Section 2-51, "City Contributions at Retirement", of
the City of Allen Code of Ordinances are hereby amended in the following manner and
shall read as follows:
Effective January 1, 1987, for each month of current service
thereafter rendered to this City by each of its employees who are
members of the Texas Municipal Retirement System, the City will
contribute to the current service annuity reserve of each such member at
the time of his or her retirement a sum that is two hundred percent
(200%) of such member's accumulated deposits for such month of
employment; and said sum shall be contributed from the City's account in
the municipality current service accumulation fund.
