O-817-9-87ORDINANCE NO. 817-9-87 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL COURT TO COLLECT A SPECIAL EXPENSE OF TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) FOR SERVICES PERFORMED IN CASES DISMISSED WHEN SO REQUIRED BY ARTICLE 6701d, SECTION 143A, TEX. REV. CIV. STAT.; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, feels compelled to authorize the Municipal Court to assess an administrative fee for services performed in cases dismissed when so required by Article 6701d, §143A, Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Municipal Court is hereby authorized to collect a special expense for services performed in cases in which the laws of the State of Texas require that the case be dismissed because of actions by or on behalf of the defendant which were subsequent to the date of the alleged offense. Such actions are limited to compliance with the provisions of Subsection (A), Section 143A, Article 6701d, Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Such special expense shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00). SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, and this expense may be imposed for an offense committed on or after the effective date of this Ordinance.
