O-827-11-87ORDINANCE NO. 827-11-87 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, REPEALING "RESERVED EDUCATIONAL - 4 CHANNELS" FROM SCHEDULE "B" WHICH IS ATTACHED TO ORDINANCE NO. 291 AND ARTICLE % "COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM", APPENDIX A, "FRANCHISES", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 291, dated March 6, 1980, the City of Allen, Texas, granted a non-exclusive franchise to Media Systems, Inc. to construct, maintain and operate a community antenna television system within the corporate limits of the City which was subsequently assigned to Communications Services, Inc. on July 7, 1983; and, WHEREAS, the City desires to cooperate with the request of the Regional Instructional Television Consortium of the Education Service Center, Region 10; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That from and after the effective -date of this Ordinance, the reference "Reserved educational - 4 channels" is hereby repealed from Schedule "B", which is attached to Ordinance No. 291 and Article II, "Community Antenna Television System", Appendix A, "Franchises", of the Code of Ordinances, City of Allen, Texas SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and publication as required by law.
