AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 697-5-86,
SECTION 1 AND 5 AND THE CITY OF ALLEN CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE III, SEC 11-40 "USERS FEES",
PARAGRAPH 6, FEES FOR USE OF THE SWIMMING POOL AT FORD
PARK; PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF SUCH FEES; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, upon review and consideration of the current user fees for use
of Ford Park Swimming Pool the City Council has determined it is necessary
to increase the user fees charged for use of the Ford Pool; and,
WHEREAS, the increase of such user fees will allow for an increase in
available funds for general facility maintenance and programming of the public
swimming facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT SECTION 1 AND 5 AND
THE CITY OF ALLEN CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE III,
SEC 11-40 "USERS FEES", PARAGRAPH 6 BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
"Section 1. The following user fees are hereby adopted and levied, to be
charged for the use of the city's public swimming pool at Ford Park, and
shall be paid by those individuals and/or organizations making use of the
city's public swimming pool:
Daily Admissions -
Resident, 7 and over per entrance $ 1.25
Non -Resident, 7 and over per entrance $ 1.25
Resident, 6 and under No Charge
Non -Resident No Charge
Seasonal Passes -
Resident
