O-880-9-88ORDINANCE NO. 880-9-88 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, ADOPTING AND ENACTING SUPPLEMENT NUMBER 2 TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN; PRO- VIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR SUCH VIOLATION THEREOF; AND PROVIDING WHEN SUCH SUPPLEMENTS AND THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC- TIVE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, adopted a Code of Ordinances upon adoption of Ordinance No. 563-11-84, on November 1, 1984; and WHEREAS, Sections 1-7 and 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances and Section 5 of Ordinance No. 563-11-84 provide for amendment to said Code of Ordi- nances; and WHEREAS, the Code of Ordinances of the City of Allen, Texas, has been revised by Supplement No. 2; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1: Supplement No. 2 to the "Code of Ordinances, City of Allen, Texas" published by Municipal Code Corporation, is hereby adopted. SECTION 2: The "Code of Ordinances, City of Allen, Texas," is hereby amended by inclusion of Supplement No. 2. SECTION 3: It is the intention of the City Council that Supplement No. 2, adopted by this ordinance, and every provision thereof, shall be considered severable and the invalidity of any section, clause or provision or part or portion of any section, clause or provision of said Errata and this ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other portion of the Code of Ordinances, City of Allen, Texas. SECTION 4: A violation of any provision of Supplement Number 2 to the Code of Ordinances, City of Allen, shall be punishable in accordance with the penalty clause set forth on Section 1-4 of such Code.
