Present :Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Dan Strong, Roy Ewen, Mack Holloway, Bob
Lowman and C. D. Whitaker.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Mack Holloway that minutes of
previous meeting be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against .
Russell Betts, representing Micron Industries, appeared
before Council explaing his Companies service of cleaning and
reconditioning of water meters. Council informed Mr. Betts that
they would consider his service if City was ever in need of such
service.
Jimmy Tucker appeared before Council asking City for per-
mission to close and abandon the alley running East and West thro-
ugh his property in Block No. 4 Old Donation to the City of Allen.
Motion Roy Ewen Second Dan Strong that Mr. Tucker present City with
a written petition signed by property owners that have property
abutting this alley, that City Attorney would be instructed to
daw an Ordinance to close this alley. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against,
Motion Roy Ewen Second Bob Lowman that bills presented
b approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Dan Strong Second Bob Lowman that the following
charges be made on copies made by the City's Copying Machine :
15 cents per copy up to 10 copies ; each copy thereafter 10 cents per copy.
Also no one be allowed to operate machine but City Employees.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against. $.50 for single copy
Motion made and seconded that meeting be adjourned.
