Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Dan Strong, Rey Ewen, Bob Lowman, Mack
Holloway and C. D. Whitaker.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that minutes of
previous meeting be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0
Against.
Mr. Mac Fitzgerald appeared before Council and asked
of the possibility of getting water run to his property, which
is about 1 1/2 miles east of the present Corporate Limits of the
City. Mr Fitzgerald informed Council that he was willing to run
water line at his own expense and to come into the Corporate
Limits of the City. Mr Fitzgerald proposes to build houses around
2500 square feet in them. Council advised Mr Fitzgerald to make
a written request to petition to come into the Corporate Limits
of the City and then Council would proceed from that point.
Jack Parsons and W.A. Eubanks appeared before Council
and presented Plat for Hillside Village #3. Motion Dan Strong
Second C.D. Whitaker that Council approve Plat. Motion Carried
4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Dan Strong that bills presented
be approved. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council is to meet with the Planning and Zoning Commission
on April 29.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that Ordinances
No. 95,96,97 & 98 Be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that the Salary
for Mayor and Councilmen remain the same for another year as it
is for the present time. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against .
Motion Dan Strong Second Bob Lowman that Council adjourn.
