AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TERAS,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 166 AND ARTICLE V, "MASSAGE
ESTABLISIiMENTS,' OF CHAPTER 8, 'LICENSES AND BUSINESS
REGULATIONS,' OF THE ALLEN CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, finds that the regulations pertaining to
massage establishments, as set forth in Article V of Chapter 8 of the Allen Code of Ordinances are
no longer necessary inasmuch as said establishments are governed and regulated by Vernon's Ann.
Civ. St. art. 4512k;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TERAS:
SECTION 1: That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, Ordinance No. 166 and
Article V, "Massage Establishments," of Chapter 8 of the Allen Code of Ordinances are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after the date of its passage and
publication as required by law.
