AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS,
AMENDING THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE 1992-93 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
AND APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BUDGET AND SETTING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1993, AND
TERMINATING SEPTEMBER 30,1994; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, following public notice duly posted and published in all things as required by law,a public
hearing was held on August 17, 1993 by and before the City Council of the City of Allen, the subject of
which was the amended budget for the 1992-93 Fiscal Year and the proposed budget of the City of Allen for
Fiscal Year 1993-94 submitted by the City Manager in accordance with provisions of the City Charter and
state statutes; and,
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, all interested persons were given the opportunity to be heard for or
against any item or the amount of any item contained in said budget, and all said persons were heard, after
which said public hearing was closed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, upon full consideration of the matter, is of the opinion that the budget
hereinafter set forth is proper and should be approved and adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN
TEXAS:
SECTION 1: Subject to the applicable provisions of the state law and City Charter, the City of Allen 1993-
94 Operating Budget, with appropriations set therein (a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
made a part hereof for all purposes), for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1993, and terminating
September 30. 1994, and amendments to the appropriations for the 1992-93 fiscal year budget as filed and
submitted by the City Manager, and adjusted by the City Council, containing estimates of resources and
revenues for the year from all of the various sources, and the projects, operations, activities and purchases
proposed to be undertaken during the year, together with the estimated costs thereof, and estimated amounts
of all other proposed expenditures, is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS,
ON THE 2ND DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1993.
