Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the May 11,2022,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Boone,
the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of May 11,
2022,Regular Meeting: The motion carried.
2. Update on Current Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on market conditions stating Allen markets continue to trend
favorably.
3. Receive Update on Sales&Marketing Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell stated the CVB will continue to focus on following trends in the current climate.
4. Review Visitor Data Dashboard.
Item was not presented.
5. Consider Establishing a New Date and Frequency for Regular Meetings.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Boone,
111 the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to conduct regular meetings of the
Allen Convention and Visitors Bureau the second Thursday of even-numbered months
beginning in October. The motion carried.

6. Receive Report on Proposed FY2022-23 Budget.
7. Discuss Future Agenda Items.
A discussion on Board Member marketing initiatives for the next agenda.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Boone,
the Board voted six(6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the meeting of the Allen
Convention and Visitors Bureau at 9:03 a.m. on Wednesday,August 10, 2022. The
motion carried.
